China had previously reported a total of 81,782 infections. It is followed by Italy with 80,859 infections, Spain with 56,347 infections and then Germany. According to a query by the DTS news agency at the state ministries, cities and counties, 43,842 people in Germany had tested positive for the coronavirus by Thursday evening.
At least 267 people died in this country from the infection. So far, 1,178 people have died from the infection in the USA, 3,291 in China, 8,215 in Italy, 4,154 in Spain, 1,698 in France and 2,234 in Iran.
